Skills
Practices are broken down into segments focusing on a variety of skills including:
Basic skills (swimming, passing, shooting).
Tactics (strategies to be used in games).
Conditioning.
Game knowledge.
Our staff has been carefully curated to include only the top-level coaches. The team is led by two-time Olympian Patrick Oaten (former Head Coach for the Canadian & Brazilian National Women’s Teams and Canadian High Performance Director).
Our programs provide a wide range of opportunities for new and experienced players to maximize their potential both in and out of the pool.
Age Groups
U11 Coed (2012 - 2013)
A well balanced, co-ed program that introduces water polo. With a focus on fundamentals and team play, this program will allow your child to gain confidence in the water all while learning about a fast-paced sport in a fun and engaging program.
U13 Coed (2010 - 2011)
A well balanced, co-ed program that introduces water polo. With a focus on fundamentals and team play, this program will allow your child to gain confidence in the water all while learning about a fast-paced sport in a fun and engaging program.
U15 Girls/Boys (2008 - 2009)
This age group will further develop a strong water polo foundation as well as promote the importance of teamwork and cooperation. Guided by knowledgeable and enthusiastic coaches, kids will be immersed in a positive and encouraging environment.
U17 Girls/Boys (2006 - 2007)
Blending fun, structure and the knowledge of experienced coaches, this age group is the perfect fit for anyone wanting to sharpen their water polo skills in a supportive setting. Coaches will encourage the athletes to challenge themselves and help them reach their water polo goals.
U19 Women/Men (2004 - 2005)
Our Senior athletes are given the opportunity to play in a competitive league and showcase their water polo skills while not sacrificing any of the fun. The driving force behind this age group is pure love of the game and a desire to learn and improve. Exciting and fast paced games are almost guaranteed.
National Canadian League
U15, U17 & U19 Girls/Boys
These high-level programs provide athletes with a structured learning environment and top tier competition from the nations most competitive league. These age groups are where water polo skills are sharpened, teamwork and leadership skills are developed.
